PLEASE NOTE: We are not a parts-house and do not ordinarily sell parts separately from our work. However, we do sometimes have some parts available, and we also sell complete engines and sometimes automobiles.
Note that this data is sometimes a little stale: Contact us for current information - we're Porsche specialists, not web-site developers! And, be sure to check out Our Terms and Conditions.
Note that our customers who have us rebuilding an engine or otherwise serving their needs have better pricing that that herein described.

These
parts are vulnerable to wearing through the original rather thinly hardened
surface. Once that happens, the valves become harder and harder to adjust as
substantial problems develop over time. A "step" develops where only
the part of the rocker that contacts the valve stem wears. The surface that
doesn't make contact isn't worn and so when you try and adjust the valve you
have trouble because this "step" makes it difficult if not impossible
to accurately adjust the valves. ... Those of us who have experienced this know
exactly the problem and also know that except for a solution like our, there
really is no solution.
AT RIGHT: Here we see the hard-faced surfaces we provide in this service. It's easily seen that a significant amount of material has been welded on and that the resulting surface has been machined, as appropriate.
The rockers we provide to you are like new, but have an even harder and thicker contact face. Your valve adjustment difficulties are now over. And this problem should never re-develop in the future.
Right now, what we can assuridly offer are the "younger type" rockers for three-piece case engines, 356 and 912. These were originally used on the S-90, C, SC and 912 engines and may be fitted to earlier engines with care to observe the valve spring geometry as sometimes a rocker arm can contact a valve retainer. (There are usually solutions for that.) Sometimes we have earlier types available, but we urge you to call or email us about that.
One thing we often can provide, but not all the time, are rocker arms for two-piece-case 356 engines. If that's what you need, please just contact us.
AT RIGHT: The sharp-eyed observer can see the "step" in the contact face that's discussed in this page. In particular, ALL of the "upper" rocker surfaces are significantly damaged, and only the one lower arm appears to be OK. This is a typical circumstance. But there are FAR worse examples than we show here... We just haven't taken a lot of photos of them!
For sale outright, we are ONLY offering rocker sets that have been serviced and are ready for use - we are NOT selling cores! That said, we ARE selling complete sets. Or, we'll service your cores, if you want.

AT RIGHT: Here we easily see the gap above the valve where the whole right-hand side of the valve stem is NOT in contact with the rocker. This is the kind of problem that our solution solves.
